About the role

Crunchyroll is seeking a (Contract) Marketing Coordinator for the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand (UCANZ) region. You will join the Regional Marketing team and support business growth for the Crunchyroll brand in the UCANZ region. You will also support title launches and brand proposals and coordinate with global lines of business teams supporting the region's programs.

As the steward on a campaign level, you will handle the daily marketing operations and support holistic marketing campaign planning and execution across SVOD, Theatrical, and Events for supporting regions. You will be in sync with the SVOD Marketing Manager and important collaborators in other teams to ensure all milestones and requirements for proper campaign and project execution are met.

Key responsibilities:Assist in executing global and regional brand and non-digital campaigns and events in partnership with the SVOD and Events Managers.

Responsibilities include: seasonal/title top-of-funnel campaigns; multicultural programs; regional partnership campaigns with e-Commerce partners; experiential and convention activation campaigns.

Facilitate communication with centralized internal Marketing, Audience Development, Creative Service, and Accounting teams.Support Regional Marketing team operations and provide administrative assistance to help facilitate the successful implementation and completion of marketing projects (i.e. maintaining marketing databases, budget trackers, briefs, and creative requests) and contribute to global processes.Manage incoming project requests, deliverables, and partner communication. May include activities like:

Content brief creation and asset requests for campaigns managed internally or with external agencies or third partiesProgram execution managementCollaboration with Theatrical Marketing team for campaigns in the market

Track and analyze performance across all campaigns for brand and growth metrics, and support maintenance of reporting dashboards in collaboration with SVOD Marketing Manager.In the role of Coordinator, Marketing UCANZ, you will report to the Director, Marketing - UCANZ.

2+ years of marketing coordination experienceDemonstrated expertise in marketing campaign management and technologiesExperience tracking and analyzing marketing campaign performanceExperience with project management from concept to completion using project management toolsDirect-to-consumer, entertainment industry, or streaming platform marketing experienceKnowledge of the modern anime landscape, broader gaming, geekdom, pop, and college cultureUnderstanding of multicultural communitiesSpanish language fluency is a bonusBachelors in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, PR, Film/TV, or related fieldAbout the Team

The UCANZ Regional Marketing team focuses on market-specific upper funnel campaigns, events and activations in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. We aim to increase subscriber growth and deliver flywheel revenue in each market by engaging current and new fans where they are through media, events, owned channels and partner channels, to name a few. Our team connects with Global partners on regional strategy application and amplify the Crunchyroll presence in UCANZ to reach niche and market-specific audiences!
