Your contributions will drive critical interdepartmental workflows, ensuring our success in every endeavor.About Quinnipiac: Quinnipiac University is a private, coeducational institution located 90 minutes north of New York City and two hours from Boston. The university currently has an enrollment of 9,000 students in more than 130 degree programs through its Schools of Business, Communications, Education, Computing, and Engineering, Health Sciences, Law, Medicine, Nursing, and the College of Arts and Sciences. Assist in the development and maintenance of new and existing web applicationsDevelop components and enhancements and troubleshoot code issues on the DXP platformDevelop and maintain custom web applications and websites for university departmentsWrite secure, optimized, well-documented, and easily understandable codeSupport the web development team by resolving technical issues related to the DXP platformMicrosoft IIS and Microsoft SQL Server supportCommunicate effectively with agency developersServe as a backup for other developer team members during their absenceEducation Requirements:
Bachelor's degree requiredExperience may substitute for education requirementsQualifications:
3-5 years of experience required in area of expertiseFull stack development experience with modern front-end frameworks, specifically in building enterprise web applications using .NET, React, SQL, and modern JavaScript (ES6).Familiar with Responsive web design and mobile-first mindsetExperience working with RESTful APIStrong team player with a commitment to the universityExperience developing or remediating code to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA web accessibility standards.Experience developing integrations between disparate systemsExperience with Git repositories and continuous integration/deliveryThorough understanding of cross-browser/device compatibility issues and resolutionsExperience developing secure web applications and addressing web application security issuesExperience developing, implementing, and customizing front-end and back-end components for Opti server CMS is a plusWordPress and PHP experience a plusStrong analytical skills for solving technical issues in the production environmentExperience working in a MS Windows Server Environment (IIS) and MS SQL ServerEffective communication and organization skills, detail orientedWorks well both in a team and individuallyDemonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and a commitment to diversity and inclusionSpecial Instructions to Applicants:
