Qualifications:
Ph.D. (or a Master’s degree with at least four years of relevant experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI/ML, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Extensive experience in machine learning and clustering at scale.
Proficient in various clustering algorithms: supervised, unsupervised, and guided interactive.
Strong expertise in Spark; proficiency in Scala or Python within large-data environments is also highly regarded.
Solid experience in big data engineering on platforms like Hadoop, HDFS, or AWS in production settings.
Familiarity with Docker for deploying data applications via containers.
A collaborative mindset, eager to work alongside team members with diverse skill sets, including data engineering, full-stack systems, data science, data visualization, UI, and UX.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with real-time compute systems for data querying and algorithms, such as Elastic Search and GPU clusters.
Knowledge of machine learning techniques (both supervised and unsupervised) and feature engineering.
Familiarity with Large Language Models (API usage, fine-tuning, or application development).
Experience with SQL or traditional databases, as well as back-end development within full-stack environments.
Proficient in using TensorFlow, PyTorch, CUDA, or similar systems for GPU-accelerated processing.
Understanding of interactive and visual techniques for conveying machine learning results effectively.
Background in aspects of full-stack development.
Salary Range: $135,000.00 - $148,000.00
