Learn morehereAbout the Role:The VP, Industry & Product Marketing oversees all B2B marketing activities for both the CARS Inc enterprise and individual products and solutions. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this senior business leader is responsible for B2B product go-to-market, demand generation, and sales communications/enablement across all customer audiences from Tier 1-4. Working closely with the Product, Sales, and broader Marketing organizations, you will efficiently assert industry leadership, build customer loyalty and retention, and drive more inbound dealer, group, and OEM business. At the center of everything, this role must absorb data insights and inputs from executive stakeholders across the organization, prioritize them into actionable, valuable opportunities for the enterprise, and then deliver measurable results by motivating and directing a highly engaged team of diverse employees across disciplines. This role requires expertise and thought leadership in media/technology/commerce, as well as existing knowledge of and relationships within the multi-tier automotive industry.ResponsibilitiesVision for positioning multiple brands and products across organization; ability to illustrate must-have value of individual solutions while leveraging each to create a whole greater than the sum of its parts. Requires unrivaled knowledge of the CARS platform and competitive positioning to align our solutions with our customers’ business challenges.Big thinking to stay ahead of the industry and tell the right story that connects with customers and prospects; seeking data insights as well as dealer and stakeholder feedback to continually evolve messaging and move the needle.Leverage downstream reporting, creative/message testing, innovative tactics, and new channels to continually optimize the efficiency of that message delivery and lower cost per lead and acquisition.Envision and lead the creation of scalable sales tools and assets to increase close rates, unlock cross-selling, and grow revenue per dealer.Partner with Industry Relations to generate demand for our B2B products via industry events; participate as a thought leader in industry speaking engagements as needed.Assist in crafting and illustrating product and strategic visions for executive/board members, investors, and potential business partners (in addition to customers) to help accelerate growth.Lead a diverse team of 15-20 product and industry marketing professionals to continually hit business targets while maintaining team morale.QualificationsBA or higher in Marketing, Business, or Advertising; MBA preferredExperience in technology and/or media product go-to-market, ideally in the retail media or commerce space.Deep knowledge of and relationships within the automotive industry desired.Inspirational leadership of a B2B marketing and sales enablement organization in a company of similar size and complexityProven experience in scoping, budgeting and planning a holistic product marketing roadmap from messaging to media.Exceptional presentation and speaking skills#LI-Remote #LI-TSWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
