It has a reputation for being an innovator and often is a collaborator on national opportunities, co-creating solutions for all chapters to adopt.THE ROLEReporting to the Senior Communications Manager, this role will be responsible for assisting, developing, and managing content for marketing campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and leads.

The primary focus of this job is to support the Marketing Content & Communications team with the Foundation’s overall marketing initiatives and strategies.

Scope of responsibilities includes, but is not limited to, activities such as developing a content calendar, creating and publishing engaging content, and analyzing metrics to measure success.WHAT YOU’LL DO-

Support team in organizing projects, campaigns, and events.-

Prepare reports and presentations related to campaign and marketing platform performance.-

Maintain vendor relationships as a point of contact for any print or promotional production.-

Facilitate and follow up on submissions for national branding support like the quarterly story sharing partnership (SSP), celebrity public relations (PR) request tracking, and more.-

Provide input and support with content creation and production collateral, as well as monitor and track performance of such materials.-

Manage a content marketing calendar to plan and execute content strategies.-

Act as point of contact with external content creators to ensure consistency of messaging and Make-A-Wish brand guidelines.-

Monitor and measure the effectiveness of campaigns using analytics tools and adjust strategies as needed.-

Organize and manage a content database and repository to ensure content is organized and easily accessible.-

Stay up to date on industry news and best practices to continually improve marketing content efforts.-

Coordinate with other departments, such as Development, Mission, and incorporate feedback and improve overall constituent experience.-

Offer input on search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to support marketing content optimization.-

Research and analyze current market trends and target audience preferences.-

Keeping inventory of Marketing collateral and regularly updating as necessary.-

Engage with wish families by conducting phone and/or video interviews to generate content for story creation.-

Other duties as assigned.RequirementsWHAT YOU’LL NEEDRequired Skills and Abilities:-

Strong proficiency with written and verbal communication skills.-

Demonstrated project management and organization skills.-

Experience in writing, editing, and non-profit marketing.-

Familiarity with desktop publishing and design software.-

Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office 365, and other relevant technology.-

Solid analytical skills.Education and Experience:-

1-3 years Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations experience.-

Associate’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field preferred (Bachelor’s degree beneficial).-
