This individual will have direct responsibility for managing a team of relationship and marketing managers. This role will oversee the development and maintenance of distribution relationships, through successfully leveraging partner marketing playbooks, marketing campaigns, and initiatives.Essential Responsibilities:Lead a relationship management team to execute on performance metrics and drive sales growth from Pets Best distribution partnersLead partner marketing strategy, framework and execution to drive B2B2C salesPartner with Business Development on scoping new distribution partners and developing marketing proposalsStrengthen relationships with distribution partners to drive increased sales and develop new sales channel opportunitiesPartner with marketing, insurance product, operations and external agencies to develop and execute partner GTM plans and increase partner sales penetrationEnsure partners are performing to sales performance targets and meeting other contractual and compliance obligationsDrive the delivery of internal and external value-added analysis and reporting to partners to evaluate and drive sales performanceDrive coordination of portfolio performance reviews with partners and key accountsWork with Sales Operations team to resolve escalated partner issuesAttend industry and client events and meetings as requiredPerform other duties and/or special projects as assignedQualifications/RequirementsBachelor’s degree or 5+ years experience in B2B sales and/or client marketing5+ years experience in partner marketing management, B2B2C sales, client management or client marketing with a proven track record of results3+ years of experience leading and managing teamsMinimum 2+ years of sales experience calling on and delivering formal communications to senior and c-level executivesDemonstrated success in contract negotiations, competitive pricing, and business planning andExperience managing large corporate accountsUp to 50% travel requiredPosition location – remote – preferred near SYF site locationsDesired CharacteristicsMBA or 8 years of financial services or insurance experienceIn-depth knowledge of the insurance industryAnalytical thinker with excellent communication, training, leadership and presentation skillsStrong business/industry acumenStrong negotiation skills; proven ability to influence corporate decision makersDigital marketing experienceAbility to demonstrate innovation and creative approaches to business needsStrong consultative sales skills
