Our Marketing Communications team is seeking an onsite Graphic Designer / Digital Media Specialist. You will be responsible for supporting the entire TrellisWare organization in the creation of marketing-related design assets, including collateral, trade show and event graphics, social media graphics, web-related media, engineering, and product management illustrations, as well as other corporate graphic/digital media needs.

Essential duties and responsibilities

include:

Support all corporate graphic design projects and illustration needs (marketing communications, business development, product management, people and culture, engineering, and other departments as required) with the ability to assess effectiveness of product imagery and apply creative ideas to designs.Contribute to creative development of marketing themes and campaigns, adhering to company branding and style guide.Creation of graphics for web-related media (external website, internal website, and customer support site) and other digital platforms that are on-brand, reinforcing our status and reputation, and are appropriate for our various audiences.Working with a technical writer, apply expertise to create assets for product technical documentation, including product catalog, datasheets, welcome booklets, product posters, quick start guides, etc. This includes maintaining consistency of information across all collateral as product updates occur.Maintain corporate branding and style guidelines.Maintain web-related media on external website. Act as primary contact with outside web development company.Analyze and report on web traffic, analytics, and engagement.Support corporate projects with photography, including editing and re-touching as needed. Maintain corporate photo library on corporate network.Creation of engaging promotional and educational short-form videos to promote the TrellisWare brand through trade shows, different social media platforms and the website. Skillset to include use of Adobe Premiere Pro for editing, addition of computer graphics, closed captioning, animation, and special effects.Proactively collaborate with business units on digital media projects to ensure project completion with technical accuracy and current business messaging.Apply expertise to ensure organizational digital presences are modern and fresh.

Education and work experience

requirements are:

Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design, fine arts, or related field of study required.A minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, digital media, or similar fieldAdvanced knowledge of graphic design techniques.

Must have demonstrated experience ith the following:

Deep understanding of design theory and principles.

Advanced knowledge of and proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and After Effects), Canva, Google Docs, Video Editing.

Knowledge of WordPress (and web design a plus).

Knowledge of Drupal a plus.

Google Analytics (and ability to analyze results).

SEO experience.

Knowledge on exporting assets for a wide range of projects.

Ability to build content from scratch.

Strong collaborative drive and interpersonal skills.

Strong initiative, proactive work ethic and prioritization skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work with general direction and minimal guidance.

Proven ability to handle multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
