Senior Customer Marketing & Events Specialist: Americas

As Customer Marketing Senior Specialist, you will have a dual role where you will be responsible for managing operations of the BA Customer Experience Center (CXC) with a focus on maximizing the space as a Marketing, Sales, and Communications platform. In addition, you will project manage BA events and tradeshows in region. This includes content creation, budget, and resource management, providing tours for visitors and tracking success metrics. You will also develop and manage a database and understanding of the overall BA existence in the CXC global footprint and develop best practice tools and governance to optimize while ensuring coherent and relevant content and messaging is aligned to our broader brand.

We are currently searching for candidates for a future opportunity as a Sr Event/ Marketing Specialist with Honeywell.

The position is based in Atlanta, and reports to the Global Customer Engagement Leader, Sponsorships, CXC and Events. Specific areas of responsibilities include the following:

CXC Host Responsibilities

Identify and develop content updates to reflect new Honeywell products, solutions, and services while providing guidance regarding best practices and ensuring brand consistency.

Interface across all levels of Honeywell and coordinate between business units and their partners.

Support corporate presentations as needed.

Proactively market the CXC, including developing and implementing a strong communication plan throughout internal and external Honeywell channels.

Standardize and implement a process for success metrics and related reports.

Create dashboards to share functional effectiveness.

Manage the day-to-day operations and related budget for the CXC.

Oversee technical maintenance and upgrades as needed.

Manage relationships with external and internal suppliers as well as with key internal stakeholders.

Oversee development - scheduling, job trafficking, and approvals - towards on time/ budget delivery.

Represent Honeywell as the CXC ambassador delivering a world class experience for guests, and collaborate with other locations to keep up to date with the latest tools

Manage calendar and coordinate customer visits as well as book, manage and act as primary lead for all tours through the CVX.

Facilitate (after-hours) events for VIPs and special guests of leadership team. You must also train colleagues to ensure that when you are attending events you have suitable cover in the Atlanta office to cover any executive meeting needs onsite.

Coordinate with corporate hospitality event team. Plan catering services where necessary.

Event Management Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with the BA Strategic Business Units (SBUs) MarCom teams to identify

those tradeshows and events which will offer a meaningful return on investment, and measure

positive outcomes from them, as appropriate.

Organize and manage webinars / virtual events in conjunction with AV partners and in-house platform from planning to LIVE/recording day

Execute with a “Honeywell” approach, to provide an integrated, ONE Honeywell deliverable to

thus drive optimization, along with best/common practice.

-Facilitate research in opportunities for cost savings, where Tradeshow resources might be

better deployed into the realm of Events and Seminars (and vice versa), and optimize across a

minimized list of carefully managed, preferred suppliers.

-Provide budget cost updates to the GLOBAL Leader where necessary to help ensure

AOPs are in line with strategy.

-Work collaboratively with key stakeholders within BA to execute one Honeywell

programs and support in business projects where directed by the GLOBAL Leader.

-Support on-site and remote execution, including planning, construction,

outfitting, logistics, Labor, lead generation/tracking strategies, hotel, food &

beverage, show transportation, Executive support, etc.

-Ensure brand consistency and compliance with Design Language standards.

Ensure lead tracking is planned and executed to the highest standard with detailed follow-up

Planning in conjunction with customer marketing teams

Adopt a hybrid approach with digital mind-set to ensure maximum tracking and ROI at all

activities

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Event Management, OR equivalent experience over 6 years

5+ years in an operational / supervisory capacity at an executive briefing or visitor center

Minimum of 5 years Marketing / Event Management and or Project Management experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office with expertise in PowerPoint

Understanding of creative and production processes for presentations, videos, etc.

Expert organizational and project management skills

Strong communication (C-Suite level communication exp) /presentation skills

Fluent in written/spoken English, other languages a plus
