If you would like to know a bit more about this opportunity, or are considering applying, then please read the following job information.Mentor, manage, and grow a team of high-value mid-to-senior level Product Designers in Seattle, WAIterate on and establish team processes and best practices to maintain a high bar of qualityUtilize a human-centered design approach to advocate for customers throughout the end-to-end experienceEnsure that business objectives are clear, that stakeholder needs are understood, and final solutions are high qualityCoordinate with product managers, tech leads, and business stakeholders to define and ensure that the teams' work is executed as envisionedPartner to influence roadmaps and own experience strategyRun workshops to ensure alignment across your working partners and peersOwn UX opportunities, outcomes, and metricsHands-on approach and comfort with stepping in to get your hands dirty when necessaryLead the team in defining a vision for services at RoverYour Qualifications:5+ years in a management or leadership role on a design team7+ years of product design experienceExceptional UX and visual design skills with the ability to teach themExcellent communication skills with stakeholders, managing expectations and gracefully receiving feedbackAbility to cultivate the individual skills of your teamExcellent communication skills with an aptitude for transparency and team collaborationExperience and expertise in high-level product strategyPrevious experience hiring and growing a teamAbility to operate at both a high-level conceptual view and down to detailed design deliverablesProactive in identifying opportunities and proposing solutions within the teamProven customer and business outcomesData-driven design approach, with comfort in using business, product, and UX metrics to inform decisions
