Working collaboratively with engineers, product managers, executives, and R-Zero teammates across the organization, you will lead all design aspects throughout the strategy, research, concept, and development life-cycleYour scope will encompass the entire customer journey from initial engagement to steady-state product usage including our hardware, mobile, and web productsCreate, align, and continuously improve a unifying vision for our end-to-end customer experience, encapsulating customer education, pre-sale interactions, product onboarding, as well as steady-state product usageDefine UX framework and information architecture to create a best-in-class end-to-end customer-centric experience, which may include: writing user stories, feature mapping, persona development, user and business goal analysis, creating a design system, workflow, and information architecture documentationIndependently develop and deliver high-level storyboards, prototypes, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs to effectively communicate design strategies and detailed interaction behaviorsChampion a user-centered design process throughout the organization including a customer research process with best practicesDeeply understand our mission, organizational goals, science and technology, products, customer needs, and user psychologyProvide competitive analysis and stay informed on industry design trendsCollaborate with executives, product managers, and engineering to design and deliver solutions that effectively achieve business goalsThe base hourly rate for this position contemplates a range of $75.00 to $100.00 per hourCertain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefitsQualifications

We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to drive UX framework and information architecture. This is the first UX hire and is a high-profile role trusted to define a world-class end-to-end customer experience. Working collaboratively with engineers, product managers, executives, and R-Zero teammates across the organization, you will lead all design aspects throughout the strategy... research, concept, and development life-cycle. Your scope will encompass the entire customer journey from initial engagement to steady-state product usage including our hardware, mobile, and web products.

This is a hybrid work location position with a minimum of one to two days per week in our San Francisco and Menlo Park offices.

Key Responsibilities• Create, align, and continuously improve a unifying vision for our end-to-end customer experience, encapsulating customer education, pre-sale interactions, product onboarding, as well as steady-state product usage.• Define UX framework and information architecture to create a best-in-class end-to-end customer-centric experience, which may include: writing user stories, feature mapping, persona development, user and business goal analysis, creating a design system, workflow, and information architecture documentation• Independently develop and deliver high-level storyboards, prototypes, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs to effectively communicate design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors.• Champion a user-centered design process throughout the organization including a customer research process with best practices• Deeply understand our mission, organizational goals, science and technology, products, customer needs, and user psychology• Provide competitive analysis and stay informed on industry design trends• Collaborate with executives, product managers, and engineering to design and deliver solutions that effectively achieve business goals

Qualifications• 5+ years of progressive experience in UX/UI design• 3+ years of ownership of information architecture and UX framework• 3+ years of experience in fast-paced environments; Enterprise SaaS startup experience heavily preferred• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Invision, Sketch, Zeplin, or other prototyping and visualization software• Knowledge of Principle, Framer, or HTML a plus

The salary range for this position will vary based on candidate level, experience, and location. The base hourly rate for this position contemplates a range of $75.00 to $100.00 per hour. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits. Proof of eligibility to work in the United States and a background check is required upon employment
