The Bay Area's top video-sharing giant is seeking a UX Content Designer to assist their team. As a UX content designer working on the Premium Team, youll develop content strategy and messaging that help users understand the difference between different plan tiers and the various features and benefits. Ideally, the UX content designer would have domain knowledge of consumer-focused copy and can work strategically across a variety of efforts.

This role will be hybrid/onsite, three days a week. The team is in San Bruno and the office is public transportation accessible via company shuttle.
What You Will Be Doing
Write clear, concise user-interface text with an eagle eye for details.Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to define requirements against core user journeys; Weave user insights, engineering constraints, business needs, and platform constraints into your proposals.Think holistically to create a diverse set of writing and content design, solutions with a deep understanding of user needs.Manage multiple projects and stakeholders, prioritizing against tight deadlinesThrive in ambiguity with high confidence.Uphold UX writing standards and frameworks and help evolve or develop new ones as needed.Develop concepts for early-stage products. Provide data-informed insights to improve existing experiences.Help coordinate translations, improve writing tools and processes, format documents, and generally lend a hand as needed to produce world-class software products.

Advocate for user needs with PMs, even in the face of business needs.Formulate UX content design hypotheses & update your work based on UXR readouts.Fosters an inclusive and collaborative environment.

You communicate effectively with cross-functional partners and influence partners on the best UX content design strategies.Proactively seek feedback from design and writing teammates on your work; incorporate feedback appropriately.Document and articulate the reasoning behind your content design decisions to stakeholders.

What You Need for this Position
Mandatory
BA/BS degree in English, communications, HCI, journalism, a writing-intensive humanities discipline, or equivalent practical experience.5 years of relevant work experience, including experience with consumer-focused writing for computing platforms.Portfolio of UX-focused writing samples and style guidelines.Experience using Google Workspace and Figma, Sketch, or equivalent tools.Highly collaborative and self-directed.Experience working in hardware, software, digital agency, customer support documentation, or related fields.Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
Desired
Prior experience in senior-level UX Content Design roles or related fields.Excellent prioritization and comfort with autonomy.Passionate about systems thinking.Experience working with user research, data, and customer feedback; ability to synthesize these into specific content choices and a broader content strategy.
