Are you a legendary lead user experience designer? Sköna is seeking a Lead UX/UI Designer to lead the digital/web practice in our San Francisco office. We are looking for a passionate and experienced individual with outstanding design and analytical sense. You are a visionary, think strategically and holistically about digital experiences, and are able to consult our C-level clients on how to grow their brands and businesses online. You also need to be a leader personality and inspire and mentor the digital creative team, oversee work from strategy to execution on multiple simultaneous projects, and work well across disciplines and offices.

We focus on collaboration to produce beautiful results, we leave our egos at the door and look for ways to always pitch in.Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Push our agency forward in creating forward-thinking digital experiencesOversight and accountability of digital design projects from start to finishWork with the brand team to extend brand concepts to website experiences. Produce user flows and customer journeys, wireframes, visual design and UI, prototypes, and interaction design for various B2B clients in the technology spaceLead and execute web strategy/UX strategy projects including research and analytics, and recommendationsPlan and conduct user research and testing relating to web and app initiativesLead and execute web visual design projectsProactively identify web project opportunities for our clientsAct as a liaison between creative & development to ensure quality output and forward-thinking solutionsLead and mentor a team of digital designersIdentifying opportunities for continuous process improvement, and proposing tools to support design operationsProvide digital thought leadership and best practices for the agency and teamRepresent the agency’s creative ‘product’ – present concepts and ideas to clients and become the agency’s digital creative voiceSupport on new business development. Selling Skona’s web services, participating in proposals by providing direction on process and budgets, and presenting recommendations to prospective clients.Requirements 10+ years of proven experience in UX, UI, and interaction design for web5+ years leading projects, teams, and consulting and presenting to clients3+ years in an agency environment2+ years experience in managementBA/BFA/MFA in design or similar disciplineProven experience in creating innovative digital experiences that drive business resultsProven experience in planning, leading and executing website design projects from strategy to implementationComprehensive awareness and passion of new platforms, technologies, and trends for digitalGreat understanding of the opportunities and limitations of the modern web and related technologies — coding experience preferredStrong analytical skillsStrong leadership skills and highly developed interpersonal skills to lead, manage, and inspire the creative teamUnderstanding of accessibility standards and how they are implemented throughout the design process6 signs that you meet our company values
