Join us as a Senior Project Manager in Holistic Store Design, where you’ll play a pivotal role in leading the commercialization of all projects/workstreams impacting the holistic built environment (store). Your expertise will be essential in guiding projects from concept to completion, ensuring our store environments meet our high standards and vision. You’ll lead through our Execute at Scale (EAS) Process, facilitate vital EAS forums, and steer cross-functional teams through key milestones. Keeping a keen eye on project metrics for executive reporting and maintaining current records for our store development projects will be part of your weekly rhythm. As a senior project manager, you will…

Steer project owners through the stage gate process - using a clear stage gate flow and a detailed roadmap tailored to the project's scope. Identify and address any incomplete tasks to assess project status. Confirm that timelines and launch dates are achievable, considering the scope, required testing, necessary approvals, and tasks needed for a successful rollout.Lead bundling of projects to support holistic implementation – make connections to similar workstreams flowing through the process that have direct impacts or supporting release strategy needs. Flag reprioritization or escalation of workstreams based on company & regional partner needs.Nimbly adapts to shifting priorities while leading project owners – you will be working closely with cross-functional partners to drive work through the EAS process while laddering up to top priorities. Flag risks to support resourcing needs.Process evolution & optimization – ideate with working EAS team for process & systems flow optimization as it continues to grow. Support continuous improvement each quarter laddering up to team KPIs.Enjoy working on an energetic, fun team and have a clear ability to drive the business forward as part of a highly collaborative team, while acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

5+ years project management, including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, testing for implementation5 yrs managing complex large-scale or multiple mid-sized projects/processes5 yrs General business experience in large, matrixed organizations2 yrs mentoring other project managers in program and project management1 yr developing & delivering presentations to executive-level audiencesStrategic planning background a plusDesign or Construction background a plus
