Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Urban Designer/ Planner 2, we'll count on you to:Take responsibility for variety of urban planning projectsIndependently collect, assimilate and manage project-related dataPrepare constraints mapping and required documentsAssist in preparation and participation in public information meetings and hearingsPerform complex assignments, making independent decisions on problems and methodsPerform other duties as neededQualifications

Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or closely related fieldA minimum of 5 years experience in planning and designProficiency with Microsoft Office programsExtensive graphics and report document production experienceExperience with GISStrong oral and written communication skillsLeadership skills and ability to work in a team environmentMay require the ability to travelAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Urban Planning or related fieldWhy HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for it's also about what you do and how you do it.
