Our Atlanta division is expanding due to project wins and has an immediate need for a Senior Cad Technician.
Position can be leveled to Sr. Tech/Designer with advanced experience.
Job Description
Top level Civil designerPerforms non-routine and complex assignments from verbal instructions and under minimal supervision; considerable CADD skills are required to visualize and portray complex design featuresMay determine drawing sequence and presentationHas working knowledge of land development engineering criteria and understands agency requirements and approval processWorks closely with Project Managers; may recommend minor design changes requiring sound judgment and discretion and perform simple design calculationsReviews work performed by CAD Technicians I and II before submitting to Project EngineerMay guide or be assisted by other techniciansPrepare cost and quantity estimatesJob Requirements
Prior professional computer drafting experienceStrong working knowledge of Civil 3D is a mustShould have working knowledge of CAD manual drafting techniques and CAD standardsKnowledge of construction plan preparation for land and /or site development projectsAbility to work in a fast paced environmentWorks well in a team oriented environmentBenefits to name a few...
