That means if you want to do your thing in the office (if you're near one), at home or a bit of both, it's up to you.What you’d be doing in this roleYou will apply a blend of design skills and software development skills to explore, prototype, and build experiences that define the future of how people interact with content in Canva.You will work creatively through and around perceived limitations and/or challenges to create delightful customer experiences.You will partner with Product Designers and researchers to explore and implement user experiences.You will partner with engineers to build out testing capabilities and ensure work can be translated into production.You will develop documentation and processes for the team to useYou will mentor more junior Creative TechnologistsYou will contribute to the growth and development of the Creative Technology subspecialtyYou’re probably a match if you haveA portfolio
of interaction design work built-in front-end technologiesExperience delivering detailed, high-quality interactive experiences with a deep passion for code and creativity.6+ years of experience with front-end technologies for prototyping (HTML, CSS, JS + React)Experience collaborating with designers, engineers, and non-technical stakeholders to drive solutions that synthesize product, design, and technical requirementsAn aptitude and a desire to pick up new technologies, playing around with them, and finding unique ways to use them.It would be a plus if you also have:
Experience in understanding and using back-end or data services.Experience prototyping AI user experiences
About the Creative Technology teamYou’ll be part of the Creative Technology Team – a small group of highly technical, design-led creatives.
