Job Title: Manager, Creative Graphic Designer

Established in 2017 by Elliot Grainge, 10K Projects is one of the fastest growing completely independent record labels in the world. Its innovative multi-platinum artists and partners drive billions of streams each year with acts including Ice Spice, Trippie Redd, iann dior, Surfaces, YTB Fatt, COIN, Salem Ilese and many more. The company is dedicated to continually pursuing philanthropy efforts expressed through its 10K Together division. Based in Los Angeles, CA, 10K Projects is committed to recognize and champion the unique visions of creatives and storytellers of tomorrow.

Your role:

The Creative team at 10K Projects is looking for a digital graphic designer who can create social and web-specific art that brings our artists’ voices onto these platforms. We are seeking vision, creativity, and design expertise to create immersive experiences across various social platforms, web, email, and other fan-facing digital outlets. This role will work alongside the Digital Marketing team to plan and implement ongoing, campaign-driven creative elements for 10K Projects; roster of music artists.

Here you’ll get to:

Participate in brainstorms alongside Digital Marketing strategists, Marketing Directors, and on occasion A&R, artists, and their management teams

Align with marketing strategy and translate initiatives into visual content (photos, gifs, and graphics) with the intent to engage artists fans and grow their following while supporting key business objectives

Conceptualize, produce, and edit content aligning with the artist’s voice/vision that is designed and optimized with platform, target audience, and marketing goals in mind

Understand best practices for social media, web, and email including the how to create successful, engaging content for each platform

Create engaging content including: static designs using imagery and/or typography, gifs, illustrations, photography, paid social ads including carousels, thematic types of posts including countdown assets, lyrics, infographics, etc.

Attend events and create real time content including but not limited to photography and videography to be used for social posting or Instagram stories

Edit, retouch, and resize existing assets

Available for off-hour (weeknights and weekend) deliverables as tied to artist releases

Lead all aspects of Digital Asset Management and proper archiving of photo shoots and finished packaging deliverables

About you:

2-3+ years of experience producing custom social content within agency or in-house social/creative teams

Strong design skills, comfortable taking an idea from concept to implementation. Strong typography, photography, and illustration/image editing skills with a keen eye for taste level and unique executions

Strong visual sense and taste level with an understanding of photo and design principles for mobile, web, and social-first content. Previous experience showcasing a range of artistic themes, styles, and formats

Deep understanding of the nuances of each online platform (Facebook, X, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Web, email, etc) and how to adapt and optimize content per channel; this includes proper file size, specs, and copy adaptations

Manage tight deadlines while maintaining commitment to excellence and impeccable attention to detail

Highly organized, proactive, multifaceted, capable of working on concurrent projects and able to communicate effectively to digital team members, vendors, artists, and executives

Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)

Proven experience conceptualizing, driving, and delivering impactful, engaging creative assets for digital/social platforms

Motion graphics, animation, and/or video design skills

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design/related fields or equivalent experience

Salary Range

$66,650 - $70,000 Annually

Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law.

The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
