SUMMARY
Be a part of something awesome! The Concept Designer is responsible for the concept creation, design, and production of the JOANN advertising collateral including the invention of original artwork, page layout and final release-ready artwork for multiple advertising channels (print, in-store, digital, etc.). The Concept Designer will maintain brand integrity while ensuring accurate, timely and efficient job execution by organizing information and keeping others informed.
PRINCIPAL DUTIESConcept and design for all channels including in-store, online, social, and print materials.Follow creative processes to work cross functionally and guarantee all due dates and job requirements are met.Collaborate with copy partners and other marketing team members to ensure strategic, well thought out ideas and designs.Contribute to group brainstorms and new idea collaboration.Follow industry trends and bring forward new ideas to maintain and further elevate the brand aesthetic across all channels.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Advertising/Marketing or related field
Minimum Experience: 3-5 years' experience in a similar design position

Push out of the box creative thinkingAbility to take ownership of projects from concept to completion, thinking through strategy, project scope, prototyping, final design creationAble to work to various timelines, in a fast-paced environment, while always delivering creative that is accurate and consistentProficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesignStrong attention to detailGreat communication skillsAnimation, interaction design, video and photo editing a plusThis position will be located at:5555 Darrow Road Hudson, OH 44236
