TikTok TV team leads product and growth initiatives for TikTok TV app on all TV platforms with a data-driven and results-focused engineering and product mindset. We are seeking talented individuals who enjoy the intersection of product, data, design, and engineering to help us reach the next milestone of billions of users.
In the PGC, TikTok TV team, you'll have the opportunity to build TikTok TV app on all TV platforms to bring joys to our users in all scenes. You'll define A/B testing frameworks to measure and improve user retention and engagement. We encounter a diversity of technical challenges, allowing you to get a firsthand look at what technologies the most innovative organizations are using and be able to build up a bottom-up growth strategy from scratch. You'll be joining a full-stack team that can leverage all of TikTok's existing frameworks and be a part of designing and implementing new techniques and foundation work that can further improve user experience and showcase TikTok's value proposition.
Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. This Internship Program runs for 12 weeks beginning in May/June 2025. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following summer internship start dates below:Monday, May 12Monday, May 19Tuesday May 27 (Memorial Day May 26)Monday, June 9Monday, June 23

Responsibilities:• Design, implement the user features of our mobile application.• Collaborate with the design and product teams to create a world-class mobile experience.• Optimize mobile applications on the Android TV platforms.• Promote robust and maintainable code, clear documentation, and deliver high quality work on a tight schedule.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications- Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Graduate/Master in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline- Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2025;- Experience in either mobile development- Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Preferred Qualifications- Graduating December 2025 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship.- Proficiency in at least one of these programming languages: Kotlin, Java.- Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases.- Good team communication and collaboration skills.
