The Design Studio Consultant is responsible for guiding the client through their Design Studio appointment and the accurate processing of their selections, as well as overseeing all follow up throughout the home building process. The Design Studio Consultant supports their designated market and ensures that each client has an efficient and enjoyable selection process and True Client Experience. This role will assist in managing the daily operations of the Design Studio as a retail-ready, client-interfacing space. Daily operations of the Design Studio are during the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Design Studio Consultant is expected to be physically present in the Design Studio a minimum of these client-interfacing hours.

Responsibilities:

Aligns with team congruency and culture related to the True DifferenceDemonstrates the 10 Core Disciplines of the Platform (Retail Experience, Product Portfolio, Client Experience, Team Synergy, Design Studio Client Selections, Showcase & Model Home Selections, Gate Conformance, Market Team Leadership, Market Team Meetings, TA/Builder Certification)Achieves daily and weekly final selection appointments as set by Design Studio ManagerAttends monthly Division meetings as appropriate for designated marketCompletes spec home selections and audits model and spec homes for accurate selections in designated marketIdentifies clients not meeting processing standards for gate conformance and notifying Design Studio Manager with solutions-based managementMonitors home appraisal to ensure conformance with established budget and community guidelines, and communicates nonconformance to Credit departmentAssists clients through their selection appointments addressing questions and setting proper expectations for product, process, and priceDocuments collection, elevation, and floor plan collateral, along with detailed notation of color and style selections accurately in the PlatformMaintains continued communication with all clients after selections as needed during the building processEnsures that client experience throughout Design Studio process is fully aligned with corporate standards and objectivesAssists clients through preview and spec sold appointments as neededCompletes selections for Integrity, Elements, Tribute, and Traditions collections per contract and market guidelinesAttends quarterly Design Studio meetings and Corporate gatherings in MonroeExecutes "special" projects and serves as back-up and team player to assist in executing operational tasks of: Gold Change Orders (GCOs), auditing, processing paperwork, folder preparation etc. for other markets. Specifically, Charlotte is first-line back-up for Charlotte. Raleigh and Triad are first-line back-up for each other. Coastal and Charleston are first-line back-up for each other.Performs other duties as needed or requiredResults/Accountability:

Ensures team congruency with True Difference and Design Studio Platform/Average (minimum of 3.0 on True Review)Completes clients' final selections appointment within 10-15 days of loan approval pending collectionEnsures Design Studio team processes all Design Studio selections to meet start pace and create backlog for Design Studio ManagerProcesses paperwork, audits, and GCOs within 48 hoursResponds to all New Home Design Studio emails within 24 hoursContacts Clients within 24 hours after loan approval to schedule selections appointment as neededRetains a variance of less than 1.5% per designated marketEnsures that Design Studio is maintained as a retail ready environment via weekly inspection per assigned area of expertise and assignedAchieves an 80% client recommendation of Design Studio Consultants per Client Satisfaction Survey (both WOS and Survey Monkey) consistently for one yearAchieves certification on Good/Better/Best LanguageExecutes up to capacity of 5 client consultations per week including paper processed within 24 hours of appointmentQualifications:

High school diploma or GED with relevant work experience requiredThree to five years of experience in home design, new home construction, or related fieldProficient in Microsoft OfficeGeneral Requirements:
