SUMMARY:

This position in the Town Administrator's department is a full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday-Friday) benefitted position. The Grant Writer Administrator is responsible for Managing the Grant functions for the Town of Marblehead in compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations and for pursuing grants for the Town. The ideal candidate for this position will bring a passion for municipal government and have experience in grant writing, preferably in a municipal setting. To be successful in this position, you will need excellent writing skills, an ability to clearly articulate the specifics of what is needed for each grant, and a cooperative, team-oriented approach to your work. Manage MEMA and FEMA grants.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in business, or a related field; three to five (3) years of related work experience; experience in a municipal or a government setting preferred; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.Proven track record of successfully managing complex initiatives with multiple work streams.Experience with federal and state regulations relating to federal grants.Knowledge of MS Office Suite & Excel.Pay Rate: $75,000/annual salary depending on experience.
