Summary/Objective

We are seeking an experienced candidate with a can-do attitude and the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines.

Essential Functions

Create and implement marketing strategies and campaignsCoordinate and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines are metConduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer preferencesCreate and maintain collateral, including brochures, newsletters, internal localnet updates, and promotional materialsOwn social media accounts, including content creation, and engagementUpdate company website with current content and project updatesOrganize and promote eventsHandle tasks, such as maintaining marketing databases, calendars, and coordinating meetingsDevelop and implement content calendar to drive social media posts to promote various client and internal eventsDevelop material for award submissionsAssist with video production and other digital media requests, both internal and external facingPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedQualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field3-5 years of experience in a marketing and/or communications roleStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe programs (e.g., PowerPoint, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)Proficiency in WordpressKnowledge of digital marketing techniques and best practicesCreative mindset with strong attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience in the construction industry is highly desirableExperience with graphic design is a plusCompetencies

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This is largely a sedentary role; however, this position may occasionally require the ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds of paper, files, and/or equipment. This position requires the ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time to enter data into multiple systems and conduct face-to-face and/or virtual meetings.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time non-union position. The scheduled hours are 40 to 50 hours per week Monday through Friday but may be extended as required to execute the tasks assigned.

Travel

Travel is not expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field, and 3-5 years of experience in a marketing and/or communications role.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Must pass a pre-employment screen, including but not limited to a drug and alcohol screen, background check, motor vehicle records check, reference check and physical (if applicable).Current and valid driver’s license in the state of permanent residence (must be insurable by Jaynes automobile insurance carrier in order to drive a Jaynes vehicle).Must be eligible per Fleet Safety Management policy to operate a company vehicle or a personal vehicle for company purposes.
