Position Summary and Job Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Multimedia Specialist I (MS-I) generates clean multimedia projects, academic lectures, and Computer Based CBT lessons with integrated audio and video clips using authoring, audio, video capture, and manipulation software. The MS I is responsible for a wide range of multimedia products including static imagery, three-dimensional statics, animation, audio, and video for inclusion into all courseware materials as well as maps for mission simulator guides. The MS I assists the F-16 Instructor/Subject Matter Experts (I/SME) and Educational Technologists (ET) with organization, storyboarding, flow, and narration, and makes suggestions to enhance the fidelity of the courseware material in production. The MS I works closely with the ET to ensure all products comply with work instructions (WIs) and customer requirements and notifies the Courseware Manager (CWM) of any shortfalls.

Job Responsibilities

Develops and maintains multimedia for inclusion into all coursewareParticipates in syllabus finalization process- Evaluate and record student performanceMaintains a cross-referenced database for graphic products (graphics library)Participates in developing and revising WI outlining detailed processes for creation and delivery of lectures, test questions, CBTs and workbooks.Required and/or Preferred Qualifications

Required Skills:

Be able to create two-dimensional and three-dimensional images depicting objects in motion or illustrating a process, using computer animation or modeling programs.Be able to design complex graphics and animation, using independent judgment, creativity, and computer equipment.Experience with video edtiting softwareFamiliarity with Adobe products and MS Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, ExcelExperience in education/training material developmentBe able to obtain and maintain a US Government SECRET security clearanceDesired Skills:

Experience with one or more of the following :

Computer Based Training (CBT)Interactive Courseware (ICW)eLearningInteractive media design
