Job Role and Responsibility:

Xilinx, Inc., a subsidiary of AMD, Inc., is hiring Sr. Product Marketing Manager to drive product definition for adaptive SoC silicon targeting Intelligent Embedded Endpoints and Edge Applications. Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients. Responsible for defining adaptive SoC silicon products for Embedded Vision & AI applications. Analyze the needs of key customers and markets trends to define the next generation of products which maximize Xilinx/AMD's revenue and margin while minimizing time-to-revenue and development costs. Work collaboratively with peers in the planning team, vertical marketing teams and target customers to identify key applications and corresponding business plan and forecasts, that offer a significant revenue opportunity for Xilinx/AMD. Consolidate requirements and define specific products that meet the feature, cost, and availability requirements of the key applications and document these requirements for silicon and solutions. Negotiate product features appropriately and refine the marketing requirements into a final plan of record as documented. Write technical documentation for Xilinx/AMD products.

Travel required:

Up to 15% domestic and international travel.

Qualifications: Degree required

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management, or related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required:

Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Technical Product Manager, Product Designer, Product Engineer, or a related occupation.

Alternate combination of education and experience:

Employer will accept alternate combination of education and experience: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management, or related field and seven (7) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Technical Product Manager, Product Designer, Product Engineer, or a related occupation.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

Position requires three (3) years of experience in the following:Defining software features and delivering machine learning-based software;Conducting market and competitor research and feasibility studies for next-generation technical products;Agile product development methodology using JAMA or JIRA;Adapting SoC silicon products for Embedded or AI applications;Analyzing performance and power for Compute SoCs; andDeveloping product feature roadmaps and differentiation strategies.
