INADEV is seeking a User Experience (UX) Specialist with strong interaction/Interface design experience utilizing user-centered methods; designing and conducting formative various user research tests (user interviews, contextual inquiry, card sorting, usability tests, and others) in formal and informal settings.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Derive business processes, analyze user needs, assist in requirements definition, design browser-based interfaces, and design and conduct usability testingElicit business goals and user needs from stakeholdersFacilitate customer discovery sessionsCreate Conceptual Models, Journey Maps, Personas and Scenarios of UseCreate and refine screen prototypesDocument user requirements, screen designs, and design recommendationsRequirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to obtain U.S. Public Trust security clearanceMust be located within 2 hours of travel from Baltimore, MDBachelor's degree and 7 Years of relevant work experience OR Master's degree and 5 Years of relevant work experience as a User Experience Specialist or a minimum of 11 years related experience in lieu of a degree.Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics as well as interface with the customer on a daily basisMinimum of 6 years of direct Interaction/Interface design experience in User-Centered Methods and User AnalysisREQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics and interface with the customer and stakeholders on a daily basisMinimum of 6 years of direct Interaction/Interface design experience in User-Centered Methods and User AnalysisMinimum of 6 years of experience documenting user requirements, screen designs, and design recommendationsMinimum of 4 year of experience in designing and conducting formative usability tests in both formal and informalsettingsMinimum of 4 year of experience preparing and presenting findings and recommendations in small and large group settingsMust provide a digital portfolio of design work for reviewDESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
?Experience using Axure RP prototyping softwareExperience with AdobeXD prototyping softwareExperience with Pega and/or ServiceNow platformsExperience with the Agile/Scrum methodologyUnderstanding of responsive designPrior experience supporting government agenciesUnderstanding of Section 508 and its requirements regarding designHold additional UX Certifications such as UX Master Certification (NN/g) or UX Design Immersive (General Assembly)
