Our
Associate Product Designer
is an integral part of our team at WillowTree. To help retain our deep culture of collaboration, this role will maintain an in-office presence out of our Columbus, OH office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays supporting our hybrid model. This position can work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.The Opportunity

at WillowTree, you'll work with multidisciplinary teams to support client projects while leveraging research, analytics, and SEO to evolve your designs!ResponsibilitiesLeverage research, analytics, and SEO insights to inform and evolve design choicesCreate and maintain organized files for easy collaboration and future updatesBuild prototypes to test and quickly iterate on design ideasUtilize visual design principles and user experience best practices to create intuitive and engaging designsUphold platform and accessibility best practices in all design workExpress client's brand effectively through design workFocus on timely delivery of tasks, accurately reporting progress, and managing expectations when behindAdhere to platform and accessibility best practices in all design work, promoting inclusivity and ensuring that designs are accessible to all users.QualificationsYou've been designing digital products for 2+ yearsExperience with design tools like Sketch, Figma, and Adobe applicationsBasic understanding of SEO and analytics as they relate to designProven understanding of user experience best practices and platform standardsA strong understanding of typography, layout, color, and design principlesCapacity to work under ambiguity and move forward with imperfect dataFamiliarity with accessibility best practices to ensure designs cater to all user needsCommitment to personal growth, willingness to seek out the necessary information, and openness to mentorshipBonus PointsMotion DesignExperience assisting with or leading creative workshops
