Presentation Designer

Enthuse, New York, New York, us, 10261

Job Description

We’re looking for an enthusiastic problem solver to join our growing creative team as a

presentation designer.

As the person responsible for creating and designing engaging, effective presentations, you’re attentive to detail, organized, and communicative.

Graphic design skills are a must, and it’s essential that you are a creative storyteller with a knack for distilling complex ideas into tidy packages. You’re able to see the big picture, even as you select the most minute design elements for each slide.

As part of our team, you’ll work with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders to make ideas into compelling presentations. While starting points will range from developing concepts to near-complete decks, you’ll be responsible for adhering to brand guidelines and best practices to create work that speaks to a wide variety of audiences. These can be anything from a single-slide production to brand-new deck templates, custom presentations to last-minute clean up. You’ll get the content aligned with the brand by sourcing images and icons, creating infographics and illustrations, and finding unique ways to make data visual— all of this adds up to one cohesive narrative that speaks the client’s needs.

Our ideal candidate is someone eager to show off their skills and take our decks to new heights. We’re looking for a self-starting designer who makes recommendations, asks questions, and reinforces and refines the visual story of presentations. You’re not one to wait for direction; you track down the information you need to go the extra mile.

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Design and create appealing and effective PowerPoint & Keynote presentations by incorporating text, images, graphics, and multimedia elements

Organize information in presentations so it is informative, easy to understand, and engaging

Take direction from brainstorms, written collections of ideas, and loose sketches and develop sophisticated, practical, and polished designs and layouts

Bring an artistic eye and understanding of design principles to all projects

Create visuals, charts, and infographics that enhance the look and feel of the slides

Edit and revise presentations to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and quality

Develop and maintain templates and style guides to ensure brand consistency

Analyze data and create charts and tables in Excel

Animate animation on designed slides

Remain current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to improve presentation design and effectiveness

Develop custom PowerPoint & Keynote concepts and templates

Manage the presentation design process from start to finish: meet with stakeholders to craft the narrative, create slides, and incorporate feedback on tight timelines

Establish and maintain the core design system (fonts, colors, styles, backgrounds, logos, etc.)

Create processes that empower users to create or modify slides according to acceptable brand guidelines and approved, up-to-date assets

Create and maintain a library of core assets including templates, graphic resources, imagery, themes, etc.

Serve as the final point of contact and be responsible for reviewing all slides before approval

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information for presentations

Enhance presentations with appropriate graphics, charts, and images to reinforce the story

Ensure presentations are in line with brand guidelines and maintain consistency in look and feel

Prepare presentations for final delivery and provide technical support as needed
