What Product or Services Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health

Product or Services Marketing is responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy and life cycle management including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion and branding.

Exhibits an ability to translate market and customer needs into clearly defined goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics to drive sales & profitability for our Diabetes business.

Creates compelling marketing programs to drive revenue and sales in support of business objectives.

Identifies and remains current on market trends. Determines product/service lifecycle implications and makes recommendations to maintain market competitiveness and to achieve sustainable economic success.

Able to execute primary research necessary to drive portfolio/product decisions. Can identify market opportunities through primary and secondary research and takes action by implementing and managing solutions that improve the customer experience

Demonstrates advanced knowledge of marketing disciplines and concepts necessary for building marketing plans, including identifying the appropriate channel to market; this includes identifying the appropriate channels to market. Has the ability to understand market trends and competitive positioning.

Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.

Demonstrates strong financial acumen and logical decision making in the general business environment. Understands and can demonstrate sound thought processes as it relates to pricing, deal structure and assessing financial implications.

Works effectively across cross functional groups including but not limited to: customer operations, category management, communications and sales. Clearly communicates creative ideas and collaborates with internal and external partners/teams.

Prioritizes tasks and projects according to businesses' needs and turn-around time.

Accountabilities

This channel marketing role is focused on optimizing Cardinal Health’s Edgepark diabetes business.

Owns the development and execution of our go to market strategy for the diabetes business

Strengthen our channel marketing capabilities to maximize our selling efforts

Support the commercialization of Edgepark’s value proposition and execute on marketing strategy to support business objectives

Help refine and enhance channel specific marketing objectives, strategies, and downstream tactics

Develop content and demand/lead generation campaigns, leveraging internal and external resources as needed

Relentless commitment to understanding customer needs

Remain current on trends in the home medical product market with market dynamics and competitive landscape

Inform sales of opportunities to share insights and resources for customers

Ability to influence and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

Bachelors in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

5+ years experience in related field, preferred

Experience in channel marketing, sales and channel collaboration, preferred

Experience with sales support/enablement, preferred

Experience in the diabetes medical supply market, preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Anticipated salary range: $102,000 - $145,700
