Aquent Studios is looking for a Design Manager to work on the Meta Brand Review team. This team is responsible for helping to drive consistency and cohesion of the Meta Brand System. All branded materials that use Meta (and sub-brands) are required to submit for a Brand Review. This includes campaigns, events, signage, website content, training modules, etc.
As a design manager, you would work with other subject matter experts in copy and brand strategy to advise Meta teams on best practices. This role does not create new collateral, but, rather, is an integral part in reviewing work and evaluating for brand consistency.
Responsibilities:Review materials submitted by Meta teams against guidance from Meta's Brand PortalWork with Brand Ops and other subject matter experts in design, copy and strategy to provide guidancePrioritize daily tasks based on urgency and visibility while always ensuring a prompt response to requestsUtilize all branding tools and sources to provide clear, thorough direction for both internal and external submissionsRequired Skills:
Design background with familiarity in logo design, typography, color, layouts, iconography, illustration, photo, and film. Motion and 3D a plus.Has worked within a given brand guidelines structure and is familiar with common design terminologyFamiliarity with developing marketing campaigns, events and collateralGood communication skills - has good oral and written communications skillsAbility to provide prescriptive feedback activating on designAbility to simplify and communicate guidance effectively to non-design partnersCan activate on company brand system elementsGood customer service skills and judgmentKnowledge of regional marketing and cultural practicesPrevious experience in tech sector a plusCompensation Range: $85 -90K DOE
