Responsibilities:
Produce 2D and 3D motion graphics in accordance with Picture Head’s highest standards, as well as to client expectationsCreate branded motion graphics with various elements, combining software output such as After Effects, Cinema 4D, Photoshop, Illustrator, and moreApply graphic design skills to adapt existing graphics into new formats (e.g., 16x9 redesign to 1x1 for Instagram)Localize existing graphics for international distribution using detailed client guidelines.Convert elements into various formats for client viewing and editorial useBuild and refine workflows, and problem solve alongside the Lead Motion Graphic Designer as well as global Graphic TeamsCoordinate and communicate with outside agencies, art services and clients as needed with each projectWork collaboratively with our editorial and production teams, locally as well as globallyCollaborative training and execution on local and global workflows across various projects, teams, and softwareProfessional demeanor and diplomacy are always important.Required Skills:
Fully proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator)Strong After Effects design and animation skills, and experience with third-party plugins, such as Element 3D, Red Giant, Trapcode, Boris FX (Sapphire, Continuum)Experience with post-production compositing, such as motion tracking, chroma key, and rotoscopingExperience of working to a high standard against tight deadlinesKnowledge of Cinema 4D, modeling, texturing, and rendering would be a great additionExperience with scripting in After Effects to drive procedural animation is a huge plus.Ability to take creative feedback as well as share new ideasMust have a proven track record of having excellent people skills and can work collaboratively within a teamMust be willing to take on new projects and challenges with a sense of ownership and willingness to help your peersHighly motivated and organizedAbility to multitaskAble to build partnerships with both local and international teamsBe able to accommodate a flexible shiftPreferred Skills:
Prior company experienceExceptional communication skills in dealing with both technical and artistic groupsExceptional organization skills balancing multiple shows and tasks.Reliable, with good timekeeping and the ability to meet deadlinesExperience troubleshooting pipeline issuesQualifications:
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar roleDemonstrated ability to work with strict deadlines and under pressureAbility to take direction and find creative solutions during the iterative processStrong attention to detailEducation:
High School education or equivalent requiredBA/BS in applicable field preferred
