You are a critical thinker who likes to design cool things and have fun doing it, and you aren’t scared of playing in new mediums, whether digital, analog, or metaphysical. You are comfortable throwing your conceptual designs into the mix, and you’re not dependent on constant direction. You are the Designer we’re looking for, come and say hi!

Madwell is a Brooklyn-based creative collective built to disrupt the traditional agency model. Why? Because we believe successful marketing can be anything. And we love that. We were founded in 2010 in Bushwick, Brooklyn and still call that colorful, creative neighborhood home. (We also call Denver home—that’s where you’ll find our sister office.) We believe that wild creativity can live happily alongside a laser-focus on results, and we consistently work with a wide range of clients including cosmetics, telcom, spirits, and oh so much more.What You’ll DoAs a Designer at Madwell you’ll be bringing big ideas into a visual and conceptual reality by working with our creative cross-functional team members from strategy, copywriting, social, media and development to get your message through. You’ll work across a variety of workstreams and accounts.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Ideating and bringing these big ideas to life across medium, time and spaceBrainstorming creative concepts consistent with client briefs and expectationsDeveloping decks and presenting your work in collaboration with your teamsMaintaining high standards in process, design, file naming/structure and presentationStaying on top of all new techniques and trends in multichannel, multi-medium marketing effortsCompleting all assigned work on deadline and regularly communicating status updates to managers and teammatesOur Must HavesProficient in the Adobe Suite and FigmaHave a broad understanding of typography, period & current styles, design theory, and best web practicesPlease have at least one socially acceptable addiction

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000
* This is a hybrid role based out of our NYC office, you must be located within commuting distance of Brooklyn, NY to be considered for this role. This role requires the candidate to be in the Brooklyn office 3 times a week*
