a Product Design Leader to champion high-quality, user-centered design initiatives. As a Product Design Leader at Groundfloor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our cutting-edge investment platform. This platform uniquely enables everyday investors—both non-accredited and accredited—to participate directly in short-term, high-yield real estate investments. You will lead the charge in creating intuitive, consumer-grade designs that empower users to build and manage portfolios effortlessly.This role works in close collaboration with the Product team, strengthening UX for user workflows, identifying pain points, and managing the execution of designs across Groundfloor’s product lines.Groundfloor is a remote-friendly, hyper-growth, wealthtech company based out of Atlanta. The ability to present design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps; strength in developing mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how products will function and look likeA DAY IN THE LIFE:Help create a high performance design culture both by setting a high quality bar and mentoring a team of product designersWork collaboratively with engineering, product, and business teams to define problems; goals, research requirements, map user flows, prototype, and launch new productsManage the execution of design projects and the development of the design teamProactively offer recommendations and solutions by championing high quality design standards grounded in research and analysisCreate deliverables at various levels of fidelity from sketches to wireframes to final designsCommunicate progress and key updates with other team members on a regular basisCultivate a deep understanding of Groundfloor’s existing products and our usersSupporting early product definition by working closely with stakeholders and customers to participate in discovery sessions that uncover customer pain points and opportunities.Work with product managers to understand customer needs and define opportunities through usability testingYOUR EXPERIENCE + A FEW NICE TO HAVES:5 - 7 years of product design experienceProfessional experience with financial tools, investment platforms, and/or real estate products preferred but not requiredSuccess in raising the design bar on consumer-facing products, emphasizing a customer first approachHigh degree of financial literacy, comfortable with basic concepts related to building and managing a personal portfolio of investments in public and private market securitiesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsBenefitsWe value our employees’ time and efforts.
