SS&C Advent, a leading provider of award-winning software and services for the global investment management industry, is seeking a Senior Interaction Designer in San Francisco. The Designer will support cross-functional teams to design patterns and workflows for a large, complex accounting system. A qualified candidate must have the ability to flexibly deliver working solutions in a dynamic environment.
What You Will Get To Do
Design flexible workflows for a variety of complex tasksCreate re-usable, extensible patterns.Own feature UX from original idea through design, validation, development and testingProactively identify and resolve situations of ambiguity.Build successful, collaborative working relationships with business and technology partnersGather insight and feedback from internal sources and customers to inform design decisionsCollaborate across product teams on strategic design direction of SS&C Advent platform.What You Will Bring
5 or more years experience in a UX design role.Experience working on large, complex systems such as those found in finance or healthcareExperience working with an agile or scrum teamsFamiliarity with Design Thinking and Lean UX methodologiesExpertise in Sketch or FigmaPatience, flexibility and a positive attitudeExperience leading UX discussions with stakeholders and customersVisual Design experience.Familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud toolsA portfolio that represents all phases of the design process (Discovery, Wireframes, UI design, Research)Self-motivated and a solutions-oriented mentalityExcellent verbal and written skills - with an emphasis on attention to detailExperience typically obtained with a bachelor's degreeWhy You Will Love It Here!
