Goldsboro Family of Companies is seeking a talented and organized Design Center Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing customized kitchen, bath, and laundry solutions. You will support the Design Center Manager in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth within the design center. Your responsibilities will include creating design plans using 2020 software, creating quotes, placing material orders, coordinating product deliveries, and as needed, scheduling installers to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Design and Planning:Create detailed and accurate kitchen, bath, and laundry room designs using 2020 design software.Collaborate with Design Center Manager to align on customer needs, preferences, and budget to deliver customized solutions.Provide quotes to the Design Center Manager after initial drawing is completed at least 48-72 hours prior to the next client meeting.Assist the Design Center Manager, as requested, in presenting design plans and material options to customers.Customer Service:Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire design and remodeling process.Respond promptly to customer inquiries and address any concerns or issues.Provide email documentation of any customer interactions/discussions to the Design Center Manager within 24 hours.Support the Design Center Manager in maintaining strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Order Management:Place accurate and timely orders for materials and products required for projects.Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.Track and manage inventory levels to prevent delays in project timelines.Manage the scheduling and release of product deliveries according to project timelines.

Project Coordination:Schedule and coordinate installation services, ensuring all work is completed according to the project schedule.Communicate effectively with Design Center Manager, installers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.Monitor project progress and address any issues, in concert with Design Center Manager, that arise to keep projects on track.

Sales Support:Assist the Design Center Manager in achieving sales targets by supporting sales initiatives and promotional activities.Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and design innovations to provide informed recommendations to Design Center Manager and customers.Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to increase design center sales.

Qualifications:Education and Experience:Associate degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a design role, preferably in kitchen and bath design.Proficiency in 2020 design software or similar design tools.

Skills and Abilities:Strong customer service and communication skills.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and design.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
