You'll help set the early design culture, finding the right balance between speed and process in a hyper-growth company. We often don't have time to run a traditional design process, so you will need to be fast, flexible, and adaptable. Above all else, you should be focused on designing the best solution and building the best product for our customers.
Responsibilities
Invent novel UI/UX for next-gen Generative AI productsContribute to overall product direction & feature decision-makingRun end-to-end design projects, working closely with engineers & other stakeholders through implementation & iteration.Create features and novel UI/UX improvements that can be executed quicklyCreate flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockupsWork closely with product/engineering/GTM to design features & productsWork with engineering during implementation (actually get in the code to touch up CSS or contribute to implementation yourself)Help with establishing the early design culture and process within the companyQualificationsYou create amazing designs quicklyYou're highly autonomous, curious, and entrepreneurial at heartExcellent aesthetic tastePassion for building best-in-class products to solve real customer pain pointsA strong portfolio demonstrating product design, UX, & visual design.Figma expertAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively to meet constraintsYou thrive in a fast-paced environment where you have to take extreme ownership to push forwardYou're extremely collaborativeExperience with programming (minimum HTML/CSS) and using technical tools like GitHub2-5+ years of experience in product design at VC-funded or growth startupsExperience in designing in B2B / commercial environmentBonusPrevious experience at early-stage startupFrontend development experience beyond HTML/CSS (we use React & TailwindCSS)Understanding of the finance services landscape (investment banking, PE, hedge funds)WHO YOU AREYou thrive in fast-paced environments.
