Position Overview
The objective of the visual associate is to support execution of company and store merchandising initiatives. This will ensure store standards meet or exceed visual expectations to drive customer experience. Elevating visual merchandising to align with company strategy will increase profitability of the store by maximizing personal/store productivity consistently. Provide optimum level of customer service by fulfilling customer's requirements and needs and consistently apply non-negotiable standards. The visual associate also assists in all areas of store operations, sales floor support, sales floor selling, and customer service as requested.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Maximize sales and personal productivity at all opportunitiesProvide a friendly and welcoming environmentDemonstrate how new product can mix with existing stock and previous purchasesCommunicate product and customer feedback to managersSupport on sales floor and back of house functionsFollowing all policies and proceduresDemonstrate effective phone etiquette through customer serviceFollow through with customer experience by following sales floor expectations and visual directivesAttend and participate in regular floor sets (flips) and merchandising refreshEnsure ease of customer experience through visual presentation and overall store maintenanceAssist in the execution of the brand integrity and visual standards set by the companyClean, vacuum, fold, size, steam, replenish as assignedActively participate in all merchandising activities including, but not limited to: daily stock maintenance and order, stock receiving and processing, product transfers, folding and floor changesMaintain a professional appearance consistent with established dress code and image guidelinesActively support securing company assets through effective Asset Protection in compliance with company policies and proceduresExperience, Skills, and Knowledge
Excellent interpersonal skills supporting both a team environment and customer serviceExcellent English communication- verbal and writtenExcellent time management/project skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to recognize and react to changing work demandsVisual and/or back of house experience (preferred)Goal oriented: ability to stay focused on creating winning results
