. Our main activities include the Product Management, Development, Quality, Financial and Materials Management of the Business Unit Critical Communications Systems, Pro Sound and Public Address & Conferencing.

The Marketing Communications department is a strong and dynamic in-house creative services team responsible for global marketing communications and brand management for the Bosch Communications, Sound and Audio portfolio covering the brands Bosch, Dynacord, Electro-Voice, RTS and Telex. The diverse product portfolio includes loudspeakers, audio electronics, intercom, public address systems and more – and targets an equally broad audience from musicians to governments to stadiums. Team members are based in Europe, the US, Singapore and China.

The

Senior Segment Marketing Communications Manager, Electro-Voice Portable Speakers and Microphones

will be innovative, and have the opportunity to lead, identify, and create solutions to business challenges, as well as influence or guide in matters related to marketing communications.

The role of Senior Segment Marketing Communications Manager has the exciting opportunity to mobilize the power of branding, digital marketing and events and take Electro-Voice to new heights. The main responsibilities of this position include:

Owns the global marketing communications strategy for the segment – mobilizes the power of branding, digital marketing and events with dedicated segment budget and resources

Challenges the status quo and goes into new terrain to grow the brand(s) and extend our reach and impact – ensures the necessary tools and platforms are in place to mobilize eCommerce, direct-to-end-user communications, digital channels, lead generation strategies, reporting and analytics

Active collaboration with senior leadership, global product management and regional stakeholders to understand the needs of the segment to steer prioritization and focus of the team and ensure context and relevance to the business

Builds, empowers and nurtures a high-performing team of in-house experts

Ensures a strong internal core team and network of resources required for effective marcom support dedicated to the segment in the region – personnel, agencies, workflows and budget i.e. digital resources for web, portals, social channels; retail packaging and point-of-sale design; influencer activities; lead generation; product rendering agencies; videographers; technical and quick-turnaround designers

Speaks with data and insights through regular reporting on the effectiveness of brand channels and campaigns (brand and partner / dealer-owned) for brand awareness and lead generation. Presents and influences future investments and marketing activities to further the segment.

Establishes, articulates and builds the brand positioning for the segment. Ensure alignment with other portfolios (sharing the same brand) as required.

Responsible for brand and content direction and deployment for global brand campaigns and ensures regional and local campaigns contribute positively to a consistent global brand image

Manages and maximizes global budget and resources

Ensures a strong and effective digital channel strategy for the brand and segment. Ensures the segment has the communications channels and tools required.

Qualifications

Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field

Minimum of ten plus years of marketing communications experience

Minimum of five plus years of digital marketing is required

Experience leading and managing teams

Ability to build and leverage key stakeholder business relationships to support goals and objectives

Strong ability to make quick, effective decisions aligned to the overall marketing strategy.

Excellent communication skills; both verbally and in writing.

Must be a strong listener with the ability to understand different perspectives/views, determine a forward path, and execute.

Experience in the respective industry an advantage (professional audio, proaudio, prosound)

Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%
