How You’ll Make An Impact

We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate, analytical Product Manager to shape the future of SiriusXM’s ad buying platforms, with focus towards enhancing and scaling the ad buying processes and our proprietary systems and tools to support continued revenue growth,, drive measurable operational efficiencies and strong customer satisfaction for internal and external users. The role will drive solutions to problems by collaborating with Go-To-Market, Design, Engineering, and QA to implement and deliver an optimized buying experience for stakeholders in the Revenue Organization, Finance and Analytics. What You’ll Do

Maintain the pulse of where the advertising market is, where it is headed, and how SiriusXM Media’s ad buying technology will evolve to meet the needs of customersPartner closely with stakeholder groups such as sales, client services, ad operations and others to understand business/stakeholder needs, gather/document effective requirements, ensure alignment between teams, and build product adoptionWork with manager/teammates to help define and drive the vision for one or more components of SiriusXM Media’s ad buying platforms (e.g. planning, campaign management, reporting, billing).Demonstrate ability to make data driven decisions to drive new features, influence and prioritization of Ad Product roadmap.Effectively communicate with partners and stakeholders as “go-to” source for information and ideation around your product area, owning the “What” and “Why” at a macro level while writing feature requirements with detail and clarity.Collaborate across teams including go-to-market, design, engineering, QA, sales, ad operations, and finance to design, create, and launch ad buying platform features that deliver operational efficiencies, support revenue growth and deliver key results for org/company objectives.

What You’ll Need

3-5 years software product management experienceVery familiar with the tools and operational workflows of the digital and/or broadcast ad buying industries from pre-sale through post-sale including planning, trafficking, optimization, billing, and revenue recognition.Experience using buy side or sell side ad systems, proprietary or 3rd party.Experience working with engineering and QA teams in building and launching ad technology features end-to-endStrong analytical background and proficiency in assessing the value of features to inform roadmap priorities and being able to justify the approach to stakeholdersCuriosity; you help uncover the “why” for the challenges that are being investigated.Determined; able to use unorthodox, nontraditional approaches to get the job done.Self-motivated; able to own projects and work independently with limited guidance.A problem solver that thrives on solving complex business and technical issuesExcellent spoken and written communication skills, confident and capable in bring groups together, elicit feedback, and synthesize information into clear communications and action plans.Takes direction from senior level IC PMs.Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $101,000 to $126,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
