Designs experiences for retail point of sale across all platforms using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Design Leadership:

Lead the UI/UX design process from concept to execution, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience across all digital platforms.

Develop and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability.

User Research and Analysis:

Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights and understand user needs and behaviors.

Analyze user feedback and data to inform design decisions and optimize the user experience.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align design strategies with business objectives.

Communicate design concepts and solutions effectively through sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design specifications.

Innovation and Problem Solving:

Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our products remain cutting-edge.

Identify and address design challenges and opportunities, proposing innovative solutions that enhance user satisfaction.

Mentorship and Team Development:

Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Lead design reviews and workshops to encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.

UI/UX Design Execution:

Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with our brand identity and user expectations.

Ensure that all design elements, layouts, and interactions are optimized for a variety of devices and screen sizes.

Q uality Assurance:

Conduct thorough design reviews and usability testing to ensure that final products meet high standards of quality and usability.

Collaborate with development teams to implement and refine designs, ensuring a seamless transition from design to development.

Education: Preferred Bachelor of Science degree in Human Computer Interaction, Interactive Media, or Graphic Design or equivalent experience.

Advanced degree preferred.

Qualifications preferred

Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, InVision, or similar.

Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Experience in leading and mentoring design teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Experience: Intermediate-level, real-world experience in design (5-8 years) with working knowledge of managing projects independently.

Supervisory: None.

You are required to work in the office 3 – 5 days a week based on the needs of the business.

Our Lead UX Designers earn between $128,400 - $192,600 of TSR. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
