Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.

Responsibilities:

Global:

Product owner of office A4 LaserJet platform

Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth

Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners

Define product value proposition and key selling points

Translate product strategy and value proposition into detailed customer experience and product specification requirements

Influence third parties to enhance solutions capabilities

Develop product pricing and positioning strategies

Align with region partners on pricing and volume assumptions

Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact

Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources

Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members

Act as a product evangelist and support worldwide marketing communication team to build awareness and ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed

Participate site innovation program and provide business consultation to the project leaders

Understand new tech trends and new business models to seek new business opportunities

Provide closed-loop post-analysis of PHS family strategies.

Provide recommendations for roadmaps/platforms/SKUs

Drive the definition of a product/ service/solution (PSS) family/ portfolio through R&D and solutions teams.

Determine appropriate PSS family positioning prior to introduction.

Determine initial PSS pricing strategy.

Influence third parties to enhance solutions capabilities.

Regularly meet with customers or partners during the sales process.

Provide closed-loop post-analysis of PSS family strategies.

Education and Experience Required:

College degree in Marketing/Business/Technical.

MBA preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

Highly knowledgeable of product/solution family and the business needs of the target customers.

7 years experience in product marketing fundamentals.

Demonstrated knowledge of general marketing function either through education or work experience.
