The Senior Designer, Architectural is responsible for working underneath the supervision of Architects and Engineers to assist in the drafting and design of buildings and other structures and mentoring interns. The Senior Designer, Architectural will have three main customers: the Client, Discipline Design Leads, and Exyte Management team. Will interface daily primarily with internal stakeholders, including but not limited to: Project Management Team, Architects, Design Leads, QA/QC Manager, and the Architectural Discipline Lead.

Assists with preparing reports, studies, and graphics using common softwareGuides and oversees the team to achieve the correct technical solutions to difficult design and client problems as well as mentoring interns and junior members of project teamsPerforms duties of Autodesk Building Systems Software operator as neededCoordinates and reviews architectural drawings and models for completeness, constructability and coordinationCollaborates with design and technical teams while supporting or leading the development of design deliverables from studies to Construction Documents, including drawings and specificationsUnderstands Standard Installation Details, client BIM standards, industry drafting and design standardsMaintains primary accountability for all architectural designs, sharing engineering responsibilityOther duties as assignedThe information contained in this job description is intended to describe the essential job functions required of those assigned to this job. High School Diploma or GED requiredBachelor's degree in Architecture or Master's in Architecture preferredLEED® AP with Specialty or GA (Green Associate) preferred8+ years of experienceExhibit characteristics of an emerging or developed leaderBe capable of enjoying the work and keeping a positive attitude in a challenging environmentDemonstrable proficiency with Autodesk Building Systems SoftwareKnowledgeable and productive in the Autodesk Building Systems Software environmentExhibit a professional demeanour and be a proactive problem solverAdept at interfacing with and aligning multiple stakeholders with diplomacyPrevious experience with large projects helpful, but not necessaryExecuting projects utilizing Autodesk Building Systems Software
