Job Overview
In Coupang Ads, we build one of the fastest growing advertising platforms based on Coupang's e-commerce platform. Coupang is investing in building a world-class online marketing business where we run relevant ads and promotions across our website and mobile app.
Offsite Advertising is a product where we offer the opportunity to integrate advertising beyond Coupang's website and apps, to Coupang's affiliate partners and other popular advertising channels in South Korea and beyond, such as Google, Facebook, Naver, Coupang's affiliate partner network and various ad exchange networks.
What You Will Do
We are looking for backend engineers who have domain knowledge in ad tech systems, and can work on distributed systems and data processing pipelines to build end-to-end integration solutions with external advertising channels. Work includes but is not limited to:Design and develop advertising solutions with Coupang's partners and affiliatesDesign and develop advertising API automation with major online advertising companiesProcess offsite advertising performance data in Coupang's advertising platformAnalyze, improve and optimize offsite advertising qualityOn-call and maintenance for production systemsBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or electrical/electronic engineering, mathematics or equivalent4+ years of experiences working on ad tech systems, building and maintaining online advertising productsHands-on experience in building data processing pipelinesPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with handling large data volumes in a distributed environmentAbility and desire to drive solid design work on distributed systemsExperience in building search and recommendation systems and applicationsOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. At Coupang, your base pay is one part of your total compensation. The base pay for this position ranges from $142,000 / year in our lowest geographic market to $309,000 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
