Position: Lead UX Designer/DeveloperLocation: Princeton, NJDuration: 6+ monthsHybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)Job Summary:The Senior UX Designer/Developer must have experience with a user centered design process, as well as the ability to understand user needs and translate them into elegant solutions. The resume should demonstrate their proficiency with UX tools and methodologies, and clearly indicate experience with wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.Required SkillsUser research:
3-5 years of experience conducting user research to gather insights, identify pain points, and understand user needs.Design:
3-5 years of experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for accessible and reusable components and patterns within a Design SystemDevelopment:
Experience with software application front-end developmentTesting:
Experience working with different testing methodologies to ensure solutions meet user needs (User Experience Testing, Accessibility Testing, User Acceptance Testing)Leading projects or teams: Proven leadership experience managing people, processes, and/or projects.Agile methodology:
Experience working with Agile project methodology within every aspect of the software/product development lifecycle (partnering with business analyst, graphic designer, developers, quality assurance testers, and technical leads)Collaboration:
Ability to work collaboratively with product owners, designers, developers, and other stakeholders (communicating with technical and non-technical staff, communicating with peers and leadership)Documentation : Experience in technical and functional documentation (design guidelines, component usage, design libraries, and Design System best practices)Trend analysis:
Demonstrated ability to stay up to date with the latest UX trends, tools, and methodologies to ensure the solutions and practices remain modern and user-friendly.
