About the Role:

We seek an accomplished User Experience designer with a strong foundation in Visual Design and Design Systems. As a key member of our UX team, you will collaborate closely with the Head of User Experience Design, Software Developers, Engineers, and Product Managers to craft clean and intuitive User Experiences. From concept to execution, you'll apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive interfaces that meet user needs and business objectives. This is a hybrid role and will be based out of our Reston, VA HQ.

Responsibilities:Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts and product features.Maintain, develop, and evangelize a comprehensive design system in Figma with user-interface specifications for design patterns.Collaborate closely in cross-functional teams on multiple projects to ensure design integrity throughout the product lifecycle.Work directly with developers during implementation to ensure the quality and consistency of the final result.Integrate business requirements and user feedback into product feature updates.Basic Qualifications

5+ years of Design System Experience or equivalent length of experience across a design and development roleFront-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)Experience working with data visualization-heavy applications with associated workflows.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong Visual and Interaction Design skills.Expert in Figma componentry, variables, and library management.Strong portfolio showcasing projects related to Interaction Design and Design Systems.Preferred Qualifications

An advocate for inclusive design and knowledge of accessibility best practices.Experience with user research and usability testing.Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related experience.What Seerist offers:
