Job SummaryWe are seeking a visionary founding Executive Director for the Case Management Studio at Dallas College. The focus of the Executive Director, Case Management Studio position is to develop, implement, and manage overall operations of the Case Management Studio, an innovative world-class training center for case managers, success coaches, care navigators and other professionals, especially those in the higher education and social services delivery fields, who help individuals access the social services and other resources they need to succeed. The program will train participants on the foundational pillars of case management, social services, support navigation and success coaching. The Executive Director is responsible for ensuring that the trainings offered are research-informed, representative of best-in-class thinking about training for these critical positions, and implemented with the highest quality and fidelity.In addition to the responsibilities above, the Executive Director is responsible for budget development and the stewardship of grant funds for the Case Management Studio by verifying funds are spent as mandated by the federal, state, local, and private funders. The Executive Director works closely with the Dallas College student services division, grants accounting, and other internal and external partners to monitor the evaluation of the Case Management Studio and meet the needs of those served by grant funds.The Executive Director, Case Management Studio will be a motivational leader with a proven history of success in managing emerging organizations. They will demonstrate alignment with the Dallas College mission and commitment to achieving strategic priorities. The Executive Director is a strategic thinker who can balance short-term needs with long-term planning and has excellent communication skills that represent Dallas College values among a variety of audiences.Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExperience leading curriculum and learning module development and delivery in both online and in-person formats.

Understands the principles of adult learning best practices and research.

Understands case management best practices that result in case managers providing proactive, solution-oriented approaches to client needs with flexibility, creativity, and responsiveness. Personal experience developing and delivering holistic non-clinical case management solutions that meet clients' needs is preferred.

Familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches to case management.

Understands how to use data, technology and other emerging tools to better serve clients.

Ability to present to a wide variety of external audiences in a wide variety of formats and media in order to garner programmatic partnerships, support and other resources.

Ability to effectively navigate a complex organization and exercise influence internally and externally to achieve desired outcomes.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Management:Lead a program planning and curriculum development process for the Case Management Studio that aligns with Dallas College goals, collaborating closely with key stakeholders to ensure that programs are effective, efficient, and meet the needs of the institution's constituents. Build a varied, research-informed curriculum that is capable of meeting the needs of a varied audience and cohort types. Collaborate with Dallas College executives to ensure that the Case Management Studio is fulfilling its mission.

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Case Management Studio, including serving as a compelling, dynamic and public/student-facing leader. Collaborate with staff to ensure that programs are executed with excellence and create the greatest impact in alignment with strategic priorities.

Develop and oversee the Case Management Studio's annual budget, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure that it aligns with the Dallas College goals and strategic priorities.

In conjunction with Dallas College Foundation, implement a comprehensive fundraising and development strategy that aligns with program goals. Ensure that the program raises sufficient funds to meet its annual goals and expand its reach and impact, monitoring financial performance and adjusting as needed.

Expand programs and services as appropriate to fulfill the Case Management Studio's goals, collaborating with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

Supervise and motivate the reporting staff as a servant leader, providing guidance, motivation, and support to help them succeed as a high performing team.

Marketing, Branding and Recruitment:Promote the organization's programs and services to key stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, community partners, and the media, to increase awareness and support for the Case Management Studio's goals.

In coordination with Dallas College's Marketing and Communications team, develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to increase the program's visibility and reach including brand identity. Function as the Case Management Studio's spokesperson and represent the organization at public events and media interactions.

Recruit organizations, programs and individuals inside and outside of Dallas College to participate in the Case Management Studio.

Evaluation, Reporting and Compliance:Work with internal stakeholders to identify problems and develop solutions to ensure grants are performing effectively to meet funders and Dallas College regulations, rules, and processes. Collect, compile, and analyze data to evaluate the Case Management Studio development and prepare progress reports for key internal and external stakeholders.

Monitor performance measures and outcomes of all Case Management Studio grants to ensure program activity is consistent with all local, state, and or federal requirements as well as program policies, guideline and procedures.

Ensure that all development of programs and materials are compliant with Dallas College policies, guidelines and procedures in addition to the laws and regulations governing higher education.

Ensure that required reports are being submitted to the appropriate funding agencies on a timely basis as required by the grants.

Provide regular updates to the Board of Trustees, funders and other key audiences regarding the Case Management Studio's operations and performance.

Accountable for financial oversight by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends to executive leadership, funders and Board of Trustees.

Maintain compliance with all ethical and professional standards of conduct.

Culture-Building and Development:Build and foster a strong sense of camaraderie and cohort identity among trainees and staff in the Case Management Studio.

Keeps up-to-date through professional development activities, adopting innovative technologies, and applies knowledge to a non-clinical case management training environment.

Foster a positive work environment and promote collaboration, encouraging staff members to contribute their varied perspectives and talents.

Model and promote the organization's values and culture, setting a high standard for ethical and effective behavior in all interactions.

Foster belongingness and utilize excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills to interact effectively with wide variety of stakeholders, internal and external to Dallas College.

Other:Completes all required Dallas College professional development hours per academic year.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to individuals with physical challenges to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMaster's degree in related field plus four (4) years of related work experience.

Must have a valid driver's license for off-site travel. Official transcripts will be required.
