The
Graphics Manager
will partner with proposal teams and technical staff to design winning proposals and interview materials, including developing infographics, preparing proposal page layout in accordance with business standards, creating compelling presentations, and coordinating work from multiple internal clients while effectively prioritizing deadlines. Requires demonstrated past performance in working independently with limited oversight while achieving quality objectives on multiple, concurrent assignments.
You will also manage a graphic designer and collaborate closely with other graphics designers in our business development and marketing group. Because you will work with and also supervise people of all types and experience levels, tact, enthusiasm, organization, communication, and an ability to bring strategies to life are critical.
The position can be in the following areas:
Philadelphia, PA; Pittsburgh, PA; Camp Hill, PA; Jacksonville, FL; or Owings Mills, MD.
The work you will do:
Develop complex, original graphics to support sales proposals and presentations
Use available graphics and design knowledge to create high-quality, in-brand illustrations and supporting graphics
Design, set up, and lay out multi-page sales proposals
Serve as primary point of contact for assigned projects
Assist and advises internal clients with planning graphics for sales and/or technical proposals, presentations, and other multi-media needs
Collaborate with proposal team in recommending graphic ideas to replace technical and general written content for multiple technical and sales needs
Manage/oversee supporting staff’s work while maintaining own workload, schedule, and quality.
Follow established procedures and use established compliance, communication, filing, and coordination tools
Collaboratively share knowledge with peers and internal customers
Actively participate in company practice initiatives to further the development of graphics across the organization
Researches and implements current design trends and technologies
Other duties as assigned
Must be able to occasionally travel
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of professional graphic design and page layout experience
Understanding of and minimum 5 years working with Gannett Fleming’s core businesses
Demonstrated high proficiency in Adobe CC InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Microsoft PowerPoint
Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently and as part of a larger team
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong time management skills
Excellent leadership and clear communication skills
Ability to facilitate and coordinate multiple deliverables under deadline-driven environment
Must be a team player with a positive attitude and flexibility
