Portland, ORThe RoleThe HOKA Design Intern is a passionate self-starter with creative abilities that will assist our Footwear Design team and the Design Director with product true to the brand DNA. The Design Intern will support the HOKA Brand by contributing to footwear creation, product graphic/color/material selection, and explore trend/themes relevant to the season. The Design Intern will support the team with original and creative thinking, as well as project specific work for the season. A strong candidate for this role is filled with curiosity, detail-oriented, and an adaptive problem solver. You will be led and mentored by our Footwear Designer II’s and be accountable to deliver a completed assigned project at the end of the internship.We celebrate diversity--of your background, your experiences and your unique identity. Your ImpactThe primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:1. Provide creative design thinking and visual communication for assigned projects.2. Work collaboratively with Design, Product Development & Product Line Management.3. Assist designers with ideation, presentations, and tech packs.4. $20/hourThe salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Portland, OR location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
