ABOUT THIS ROLEWe are seeking a talented and innovative Industrial Designer to join our team and lead the design of cutting-edge AI/ML powered security solutions. You will utilize your strong background in designing complex hardware solutions to help modernize our product and help meet customer needs. You will play a pivotal role in the conception, development, and realization of products that combine advanced technology with aesthetic appeal and user-centered design principles.

RESPONSIBILITIESProduct Design & Development:Conceptualize and design AI/ML powered hardware products for physical security applications, including solar powered camera systems, wheeled surveillance trailers, UAVs, and other autonomous systems.Create detailed sketches, renderings, and prototypes to visualize and refine product concepts.Collaborate with engineering, software development, and product management teams to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.

User-Centered Design:Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions and improve product usability.Develop and implement design solutions that address user needs, enhance user experience, and meet technical requirements.Create user interfaces and interaction models that are intuitive and enhance the overall user experience.

Prototyping & Testing:Build and test prototypes to evaluate design concepts, functionality, and performance.Iterate on designs based on feedback from testing, stakeholders, and user research.Work closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure designs are feasible and optimized for production.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.5+ years of experience in industrial design, with a focus on hardware products such as drones, autonomous vehicles, or robots.Strong portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions and successful product launches.Proficiency in design software such as Creo, SolidWorks, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and production techniques.Excellent sketching, rendering, and prototyping skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.WHY JOIN US
