About the Role Reporting to the Director, Event Services, the Senior Program Manager, Content and Speaker Management for Global Events is responsible for the planning, support, and execution of both digital and physical events. While this role will assist with all aspects of the event lifecycle, its primary focus is on research and development of the agenda framework for corporate events, as well as speaker management, day-of event support and post-event follow up. This position will have a vested interest in more than simply planning an event, but in adopting the latest standard methodologies and interactive tools to build important customer engagement. The individual hired for this role will bring a history of successful, end-to-end event delivery, as well as an understanding of the systems and processes vital to complete a world-class content experience in both the digital and physical spaces. About You A methodical, highly-organized, and inclusive event architect with experience working on both digital and physical events. Passionate about building meaningful, customer-facing events and are always thinking about things from the audience's perspective, with an intuitive appreciation for the ways in which professionals like to learn and grow their businesses. Ideally, you bring an understanding of event content strategy for a major cloud infrastructure and/or applications provider allowing you to refine processes and lead projects that drive customer and partner engagement across a full, enterprise technology stack, such as Oracle, more efficiently. You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and a degree of emotional intelligence. Able to balance a data-driven approach to process development and execution with ever-evolving business requirements.
