Marketing Manager II

Location: San Diego - on-site 3 days a week (Tues, Wed, Thursday)

Rate: 55/hour
Manages the marketing activities and programs for the organization. Develops and implements marketing plans to serve the business objectives. Stays abreast of changes in the marketing environment and coordinates market research projects. Selects and manages ongoing relationships with different marketing vendors. May oversees advertising, events and public relationships. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.
3+ years of experience in mobile marketing or related field. Proven track record of developing and executing successful mobile marketing campaigns. Expert knowledge of A/B testing and multi-armed bandit testing. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills. Marketer at heart with a knack for identifying the right copy / creative / tone of voice. Experience with an enterprise-level marketing cloud solutions such as Braze or SFMC. Detail oriented and great communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated track record of operating independently and efficiently to manage multiple priorities and projects, often in a fast-paced and changing environment. Highly organized with ability to manage multiple milestones and deadlines, and deal with a large number of stakeholders. Knowledge of digital campaign reporting tools and practices. Understanding of best practices around test design and segmentation. Agency management experience is a plus.
